London, United Kingdom – September 18, 2026 – Kick streamer Sam Pepper met his biological father for the first time in 30 years on 30 August 2026, in a livestream from Greece watched by his audience in real time.

Pepper, 37, born in Ashford, Kent, was taken to Greece once as a six-year-old to meet his father, who did not stay in contact afterwards. Between 28 and 30 August he broadcast the search from his father’s last known address, over three streams totalling more than 20 hours, ending in a nine-hour conversation with his father.

“I thought a lot about what it would be like, me and my dad, and I had a lot of outcomes in my head of how it was going to play out. But I could never have predicted how it actually turned out,” said Pepper.

The reunion is the most-watched moment of Pepper’s 2026, a year in which he has streamed live from 60 countries including Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Greece and Albania. The story is told in full in his forthcoming memoir, “How To Lose Friends & Gain Followers”.
