Rex C. D. Lee was born in Ahoskie, North Carolina, and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. After spending ten years incarcerated, he immersed himself in history, fiction, poetry and creative writing. Lee later pursued a career in construction while continuing to write, create art and publish. He is the author of Dangerous Loops and Committed 2 Succeed.
