OmniVista network management platform introduces its new AI Virtual Assistant, along with a fresh user interface.

COLOMBES, FRANCE, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ALE International, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent trademark, today announces the release of the latest version of its unified network management platform, OmniVista®.

The update introduces an AI virtual assistant that takes instructions in everyday language. Network teams retain full control, as no action is automated without their approval. They also get a much clearer view of their overall network infrastructure.

With OmniVista, organizations can now access high-speed AI operations without compromising on auditability or data sovereignty.

That is because the same platform, features and interface are available on Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista® Cirrus in the cloud, and OmniVista Terra on premises. This means organizations can choose the deployment model that fits their obligations today and change it at a later date without needing to retrain their teams.

Actionable AI, full human control

OmniVista AI Virtual Assistant is newly built into the platform. Instead of hunting across dashboards and documentation, administrators can simply ask it questions like “how has this switch performed today?” or “why are users at x site complaining?” In seconds they will receive a clear, sourced answer.

Administrators can also leverage AI to handle routine tasks. This includes setting up an SSID, cloning a site, or decommissioning hardware. Complex setup processes become simple text prompts.

Every AI-based recommendation comes with the reasoning behind it. This allows administrators to verify and approve changes before they happen. And customer data stays within the chosen geographic region; only the minimum amount of information required for AI reasoning is processed.

Deeper integration with OmniVista Network Advisor, which monitors the network, means that problems are continually detected and diagnosed. Fixes are then applied only after administrators approve them. This means that fewer escalations reach the IT team; the ones that do arrive have a root cause and a recommended fix attached.

Essential security measures – including Network Access Control, Zero-Trust policies, and IoT protection – remain a core part of the platform by default.

A refreshed, unified user experience

The update also introduces a redesigned interface, with a modern look and simplified navigation. Finding answers now takes fewer steps, and onboarding has been shortened for new team members across both deployment models.

Wi-Fi client density heatmaps have been enhanced to speed up capacity planning.

The platform also adds Chinese, Japanese, German, and Spanish to English and French, making global team adoption easier.

Broader reach, more flexibility

The new iteration of OmniVista expands its operational capabilities to help organizations scale and connect their environments:

• One management platform: Manage OmniAccess® Stellar, OmniSwitch®, and third-party hardware from a single platform.
• Flexible deployment: Seamlessly scaling up to 25,000 devices.
• Stronger access control: Automatically verifies devices and users, enforcing role-based access, with stronger authentication options and easier connection to companies’ existing identity systems.
• Unified communications infrastructure: Consolidates network and PBX phone management to eliminate redundant management software.
• API-first design: Fully programmable architecture integrates with organizations’ existing IT stack.

“With this update, we are putting AI directly into the hands of network administrators, not to replace their judgment, but to sharpen it. OmniVista Virtual Assistant turns real-time network data into clear, actionable insight and proposes what to do next, while the decision stays with the people who own the network. This year, customers can take advantage of these capabilities with the deployment model of their choice: in the cloud or on premises.”
