WAYNE, Pa., Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Inverness Graham today announced the majority recapitalization of EasyLlama, a governance, risk, and compliance (“GRC”) solutions platform purpose-built for small and medium-sized businesses (“SMBs”). As SMBs face rapidly evolving state and federal compliance mandates, often operating with limited compliance functions, EasyLlama delivers a “compliance team in a box,” consolidating a category-leading course library, deep Human Resource Information Systems (“HRIS”) integrations, and AI-powered workflow automation into a unified, audit-ready system of record. EasyLlama is the modern, engaging alternative to traditional compliance training, with bite-sized, mobile-friendly content that employees actually complete.

Founded in 2019 in the wake of California Senate Bill 1343, which required all employers with five or more employees to provide harassment-prevention training, EasyLlama has grown from a single-purpose harassment-prevention tool into a comprehensive GRC platform spanning workplace risk and broader compliance workflows. The platform serves over 5,500 SMBs in high-cost-of-failure industries, including technology, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, and food service and hospitality.

The investment further reinforces Inverness Graham’s established track record in GRC and HR Technology, including prior investments in Syntrio (sold to Mitratech in 2024) and Swipeclock (sold to IRIS Software Group in 2024).

“Small businesses now face many of the same compliance requirements as large enterprises, but few have the resources to manage them alone,” said Chris Frystock, Partner at Inverness Graham. “We’ve spent years in this space, and we see a clear opportunity to accelerate EasyLlama’s growth. In partnership with management, we’ll build upon EasyLlama’s robust partner ecosystem, deepen its GRC software capabilities, and expand its application-specific content to help even more businesses stay ahead of compliance.”

“Inverness Graham’s proven GRC expertise made them the ideal partner for our next phase of growth,” said Samuel Devyver, Co-Founder and CEO of EasyLlama. “We look forward to working together to scale the platform, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.”

Paul Hastings served as legal counsel and Shea & Company, LLC acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Inverness Graham. Gunderson Dettmer served as legal counsel and Vista Point Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor to EasyLlama. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
