AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SerpApi has joined the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition) and earned the Ethical Web Data Collection Initiative (EWDCI) Trust Seal.

i2Coalition brings together companies that build and operate internet infrastructure to support policies that protect an open, secure, and resilient internet. SerpApi and its leadership team share that commitment.

SerpApi earned the EWDCI Trust Seal after a formal submission and review of its practices around transparency, data handling, privacy safeguards, and accountability. EWDCI is an i2Coalition program that brings together web data collectors to strengthen public trust, promote ethical guidelines, and help businesses make informed decisions about data aggregation. Its Trust Seal recognizes companies that follow those guidelines.

Web data collection has become critical infrastructure for LLMs, AI agents, research and innovation, giving them real-time, structured access to publicly available information. The industry is still relatively young, and EWDCI brings together companies in the field to set ethical standards for how that work is done.

“Transparency is a core value at SerpApi,” said Julien Khaleghy, founder and CEO of SerpApi. “We believe a more open world is a better one and that transparency leads to integrity. That’s why we’re especially excited to be part of i2Coalition and earn the Ethical Web Data Collection Initiative Trust Seal. We want to help champion ethical guidelines and build public trust among data collectors, because this work is critical infrastructure for technology and innovation.”

“Web data collection supports research, competition, and innovation, but that work comes with responsibilities,” said Christian Dawson, Executive Director of the i2Coalition. “The EWDCI Trust Seal gives companies a way to demonstrate their commitment to responsible practices. We’re glad to welcome SerpApi and look forward to working with their team to strengthen those practices and help policymakers understand this industry.”

EWDCI’s Trust Seal reflects SerpApi’s broader focus on security, privacy and transparency. The company maintains SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 credentials, alongside policies and controls designed around responsible data handling.

Through i2Coalition and EWDCI, SerpApi will contribute to industry discussions around responsible web data collection and help inform policymakers as questions about access to public web data become increasingly important to AI, research and digital innovation.
