Highly accomplished human capital management leader to guide the next phase of growth for The Learning Velocity Company™
TROY, MI, UNITED STATES, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — GP Strategies®, a global leader in digital and AI-enabled learning and workforce transformation, announced today that Steve Coco has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective August 17. Coco will steer GP Strategies as it continues to scale its position as The Learning Velocity Company™, serving thousands of clients across dozens of countries.
Coco brings more than 20 years of experience in human capital management (HCM), most recently serving since 2023 as CEO and Global Managing Director of the Talent & HCM Business Line at Gallagher Benefit Services, where he led a business supporting clients in more than 90 countries. Prior to Gallagher, he was President and CEO of Buck, where he returned the business to growth and led it through a successful divestiture, stand-up as an independent company under H.I.G. Capital, and subsequent merger with Gallagher in 2023. He began his career as a strategy consultant and has built a strong track record in digital and AI enablement and building teams that execute through change and significant periods of growth.
“Steve is a visionary leader with a proven track record of taking organizations to the next level, particularly around growth, digital transformation, and AI,” said Jonathan Satchell, CEO of Learning Technologies Group (LTG), GP Strategies’ parent company. “As GP Strategies continues to prove that learning velocity and real efficacy go hand in hand, Steve’s experience and leadership will be instrumental in helping us meet the expectations of our clients and our people.”
“GP Strategies has built something rare over 60 years—a legacy of trust and human expertise now paired with real digital and AI enablement, and the people and culture to actually execute on it, not just talk about it,” said Coco. “There has never been a more important moment to transform how organizations learn, as AI redefines what work looks like. I’m excited to lead a team built to tackle that challenge alongside our clients and partners.”
