Alliance Laundry Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ALH) (“Alliance” or the “Company”), the world’s premier provider of commercial laundry systems, today announced that S&P Global Ratings (“S&P”) has upgraded the Company’s issuer credit rating to ‘BB-’ from ‘B+’. Concurrently, S&P upgraded its issue-level rating on Alliance’s senior secured first lien credit facilities to ‘BB’ from ‘BB-’, with a recovery rating of ‘2’. S&P assigned a positive outlook to the ratings.
“This upgrade is a direct result of the disciplined execution our team delivers day in and day out, growing the business while steadily reducing leverage,” said Dean Nolden, Chief Financial Officer of Alliance. “A stronger balance sheet sits at the heart of our capital allocation approach, and this recognition underscores the durability of our free cash flow and our disciplined, deliberate deployment of capital.”
The upgrade recognizes Alliance’s continued deleveraging, with S&P Global Ratings-adjusted leverage improving on the strength of sales and EBITDA growth in the second quarter of 2026, as well as the $50 million debt paydown during the quarter. S&P noted that the positive outlook reflects the potential for further ratings improvement over the next 12 months if Alliance sustains steady sales and EBITDA growth alongside prudent financial policies. S&P’s action follows the Company’s previous upgrade from Moody’s Ratings, reflecting Alliance’s solid operating performance and continued strong cash flow.
